Alpaca Beans
A More Gentle, Soil and Garden Enhancer
Composted alpaca beans are excellent for soil enhancement! Alpaca beans have nitrogen and potassium content that is comparatively high, an indication of good fertilizer value. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are the major plant nutrients. They are the similar to the familiar N-P-K for fertilizer, N-P-K=1.5-0.2-1.1 Alpaca manure is typically in the 1.7-.69-1.2 range.
Composted alpaca beans will not "burn" the plants it comes in contact with and can be spread without worry. It is lower in organic matter content than the manure from most other livestock and horses, but still has enough to enhance the soil and water retention ability.
Alpaca beans are one of the very best soil enhancers available on the market today. Alpaca bean compost is great for all your indoor plants too. Most gardeners and horticulturalists use composted alpaca beans, like Earth-Paca to make a compost tea.
